Financial Aid
Camp Nageela is dedicated to securing financial assistance
to allow all Jewish children to become Jewish campers.

Our year-round rental facility revenue covers much of the campground related expenses to allow us to offer the #1 camping experience at a super affordable rate. Many grants and scholarship opportunities are available to further reduce the camp costs. #NageelAffordable- our commitment to ensuring every Jewish child the exprience of a lifetime.

$1000 CAMPER GRANT
Most first-time campers attending Camp Nageela are eligible for a $1000 camper incentive grant through the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Eligibility requirements are that the child has never attended a Jewish overnight camp for 19 days and goes to a public school or non-Jewish private school. After registering for Camp Nageela, apply for a grant at onehappycamper.org.

GRANTS OF UP TO $500
are available now through Partners in Torah/Jewish Rewards. Through a unique partnership with Partners in Torah, Nageela parents that join and complete a 14 session curriculum will earn $250 towards the camp tuition, up to $500 total (if both parents join). This grant is awarded per family, not per camper. Click here for more information and to sign up today!

Referral UP TO $200
Camp Nageela puts forward a referral opportunity for camp families that REFER-A-FRIEND. They will receive a $100 credit for each new camper that will be attending Camp Nageela ($200 if referred during Registration Week). In order to receive the discount, the new camper must fill out the name of the referrer on his/her camp application.

Many Jewish federations have funds allocated to help local residents attend Jewish residential camps. Please contact your local Jewish federation to check availability. Find your local Jewish Federation here.

Many synagogues and temples have funds allocated to help members attend Jewish overnight camps. Please check with your Rabbi/synagogue/temple if they provide any assistance. Should your synagogue or temple support only one specific camp, please contact our office as we may be eligible to match funds.

The Camp Nageela Yetta Broitman Scholarship Fund provides additional financial assistance to make summer camp a reality for all Jewish children. The Scholarship Fund will be opening on November. The final deadline for any returning camp family to submit a scholarship application is February 15. New families may continue to apply after that time and will receive funds on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact our office for more information and to request an application. See Scholarship Fund FAQs

Please call the Camp Nageela office at 516-374-1528 to learn more about these opportunities and arrange an affordable payment plan.
